JoJo Siwa has claimed Candace Cameron Bure ‘hasn’t shared full details of the reunion’ after confirming the actress called her after their recent feud made headlines.
“We spoke on the phone. She shared that in her [Instagram video]Siwa, 19, said Thursday in an exclusive video obtained by Page Six, further explaining the explanation Cameron Bure gave to his Instagram followers on Tuesday.
“It was at the after party that she didn’t want to take a picture with me, and I was okay with that,” the ‘Dance Moms’ alum said.
“But then I turned around, and when I looked back, she was taking pictures with other kids.”
Siwa said that’s the part that made her “really, really upset,” calling it “one of those memories” that’s still “stuck with” her.
“When you’re little and someone says something to you, and you never forget it as long as you live – I think we all had that moment – and I feel like that was that time for me,” she explained.
Despite some residual feelings from what Siwa previously described as a “difficult experience,” she acknowledged “it was a positive call” with Cameron Bure.
“We had a conversation for about 10 minutes, and it was sweet,” she said. “She apologized and we talked. It was cool. It was nice.”
Over the weekend, Siwa posted a TikTok video in which she answered the ‘rudest celebrity I’ve ever met’ question with a photo of the 46-year-old ‘Full House’ star.
The revelation went viral, and despite the ensuing media frenzy, it doesn’t look like Siwa has any regrets.
“I was being honest, and that’s something I’ve always done and always will do,” she said Thursday.
Siwa called Candace “the rudest celebrity” she’s ever met…
During Cameron Bure’s apology video, which was preceded by a cryptic Bible verse posted to her Instagram Story, the actress told her followers that she reached out to Siwa to get to the bottom of the “rude” claims. ” of the dancer.
The Hallmark star said she learned she snubbed Siwa when the then-preteen YouTuber asked her for a photo at the 2016 premiere of “Fuller House.”
Cameron Bure said she told Siwa, “Not at this time,” and then took pictures with other people. However, the actress did not specify that these people were children and also seemed to remember the interaction happening on the red carpet, where a celebrity would naturally be busier.
Cameron Bure – whose 23-year-old daughter Natasha has come to her mother’s defense now twice amid the scandal – said she felt “shabby” hearing the story, but even worse for probably having hurt Siwa’s mother’s feelings in the process.
Siwa confirmed that was the case, saying Thursday that her mother actually told “exactly” the same story about two years ago on a podcast.
“We just found out yesterday,” she shared.
In the middle of her interview, which took place at a gas station while the former Nickelodeon star was fueling up, two young fans approached and ironically asked if they could take a picture with her.
“Absolutely, we can! Of course,” Siwa replied enthusiastically, asking for the names of the little girls and complimenting one of their shirts. “Let’s do it!”
Siwa stood leaning behind the girls and kissed them smiling for several seconds. She thanked them before returning to her car and driving off.
