If you missed it, things heated up between JoJo and Candace this week after the 19-year-old called her the ‘rudest celebrity’ she’d ever met in a trending Tik Tok.

JoJo didn’t explicitly say anything about Candace in the short video, instead quickly flashing a photo of the More complete house actor when the prompt appeared on screen.

Elsewhere on TikTok, JoJo revealed that the “sweetest” celebrity she’s ever met is Miley Cyrus, while also divulging that her “celebrity crush” is Zendaya.

But it was JoJo’s quick dig at Candace that instantly went viral online, ultimately prompting the Full house alum to fire back with a five-minute video posted to his Instagram page.

Addressing the widespread attention, Candace explained that she actually called JoJo to talk things over. “I immediately tried to contact her through mutual friends, and my publicist reached out to her manager, and I DMed her because I didn’t know what happened — I didn’t know not!” she says.

“[JoJo] I actually didn’t want to tell myself [what had happened] because she said it was so silly, she felt bad, and that’s why it just wasn’t a big deal for her,” Candace continued. “But then she said, ‘I met you at the More complete house premiere when I was 11, and we were all on the red carpet.'”

Candace then remembered JoJo saying, “I came up to you and said, ‘Can I have a picture with you? and you said, ‘Not now.’ And then do what you were doing and take pictures with other people on the red carpet.

Well, shortly after, JoJo gave her side of the story in an exclusive video shared with Page Six, in which she called her past encounter with Candace “rough.”

“I think it was just an awkward moment for her, and the 11-year-old little me was so excited and so excited, but that doesn’t mean she’s the worst human ever,” JoJo explained. . “It’s just, you know, it was a tough experience for me.”

Now Candace’s daughter Natasha has come to her mother’s defense, slamming JoJo in a series of now-deleted videos posted to her Instagram Stories.

“This generation is so incredibly sensitive and has no backbone,” she said. “We basically live in a society where you can’t say anything without being canceled – or do anything without being canceled – and that’s the end of the stupidest things.”

Natasha then directly referenced JoJo’s remarks when calling out the young star.

“Whether someone says they don’t want to take a picture with you, or it’s a bad time because they’re working — it’s not a ‘difficult experience,'” she said. , directly referencing JoJo’s comments as she gestures with air quotes.

And Natasha also told JoJo to “grow up,” saying, “There are people dying… There are bigger issues in this world than this.”

However, Natasha’s videos were quickly removed from her page, with the 23-year-old saying she expected to ‘get a text very shortly’ after posting the clips.

JoJo hasn’t responded to Natasha’s comments, but we’ll definitely let you know if she does.
