Leftovers take over – Big Brother Network

After three weeks, the Big Brother 24 narrative finally began to change. Several of the house guests obsessively focused on isolating and targeting Taylor, but when Daniel and Nicole exploded on Taylor this week, it sparked a ripple in the game that led to the formation of a new covenant. And the house is about to be knocked down.

Wednesday night’s episode picks up right after the nomination ceremony. Tuner just nominated Brittany and Michael and he lets us know that Brittany would be the target if her nominations stay the same, but there might be a bigger fish to fry with Taylor.

And Nicole lets us know that’s her goal. Not only does she want Taylor gone, but she wants the power or reward she would get for surviving eviction and losing her Festie Bestie.

Ameerah also wants to see Taylor turned away. So she goes to Turner and lets him know that Taylor said she wanted to target men if she won HOH. Ameerah says she would even use veto power over Michael and Brittany.

Turner thinks going after Taylor would be the easiest way to keep the blood off his hands. And Nicole confirms to Turner that she’s okay to ride (of course she is, because she wants that power).

But then Joseph, Kyle, Monte, and Turner meet in the HOH room to discuss that blind side of Pooch last week. And Kyle lets the guys know that Alyssa told him about the girls working together. Joseph says they have to start snacking on the girls or they’ll all be next after Taylor leaves this week. And then Kyle reminds the guys that Taylor isn’t with the other girls and they want her out more than anything. So obviously sending Taylor only helps the girls.

Then the conversation turns to Ameerah. Joseph mentions how close Ameerah has been to winning things and says either Ameerah or Nicole have a good chance of winning this whole game. And then the wheels start turning.

Kyle says if the veto is used, Turner could put Ameerah and Terrance down, and they could target Ameerah. Kyle says he’s sure he can attract Michael and Brittany, and then they also attract Taylor since she’s been alone all this time.

So this group of guys form The Pound, named after their fallen brother Pooch.

It’s time to choose players for the veto contest. Joining Turner/Jasmine, Michael/Brittany are Taylor/Nicole. Oops. That’s not what most people wanted to happen with this draw. Nicole even tells us in the diary room that she might have to kick off the competition. But then Turner reveals it’s not safe because you’re surviving an eviction night next week. Nicole is now less into the idea of vetoing, but she says she will still do so to help get Taylor out.

Nicole having to veto begins to get to her, so she has an emotional moment and in tears asks the others to leave the room. The other guests worry that Nicole has bad news about her mother. But it is really for her that she must launch the competition. Nicole further says that she didn’t have a real problem with Taylor. Daniel tells her that Taylor is affecting her game, however. So Nicole says that’s all she needs to know and that’s what to do. Daniel even says he doesn’t see Taylor as a good person. Nicole says she doesn’t either and adds that Taylor is a loose cannon. Meanwhile, Taylor is there in the other room worried about Nicole and even asks Monte to say a prayer for Nicole.

So Taylor checks on Nicole. Taylor says whatever she has to do, Nicole has to do it. Taylor says if there’s a time when you need to tap, don’t worry. Nicole thinks Taylor is trying to get her to stop. She says she doesn’t need anyone to tell her to stand down.

Nicole then goes to tell Daniel that Taylor was passive-aggressive and was trying to get her to stop. And Daniel is really upset. He once had a major issue with Taylor for unknown reasons, which triggers him. And Daniel confronts her. He tells her to stop with her falsehood. He says she can F right now and not talk to him anymore.

Taylor doesn’t even know what’s going on and at first thought it was a joke. She’s really confused by it all. Then he takes it out on Taylor, accusing him of having made Paloma leave the match. And tells him not to talk to Nicole like that. Nobody understands why Daniel reacts like that.

Nicole steps in and tells Taylor that she needs to learn how to talk to people. Joseph lets us know in the DR that he has never seen Taylor do this to anyone.

OK, enough of this mess between Daniel and Nicole. Let’s go to the veto contest. For this week, players must climb a tree to assemble a puzzle at the top of their tree. One player will be on the ground, one in the air. The pair that completes the puzzle first wins the vote.

And then for some reason (it’s not just because she’s lazy), Jasmine passes out and can’t compete. So only two pairs will compete. It should be easy.

And it was.

Michael and Brittany win the Power of Veto! And Turner’s plan to hijack Ameerah is one step closer.

But there are still a few steps to cover. Enter Joseph. He knows that after what happened with Daniel and Taylor, he starts recruiting Michael and Brittany while Monte recruits Taylor. They all gather in the HOH room and discuss the plan. Kyle tells Taylor that he’s so sick of how she was treated, and that’s why he feels so passionate about it. And they’re all down. And so The Leftovers were born.

We don’t have the veto ceremony tonight, but if you want to know how it went, check out our veto ceremony spoilers.
