When reports of the shooting began circulating on social media on Wednesday, a woman believed to be JayDaYoungan’s sister took to Twitter to react to the news. While the passing woman @kenyajanell on the app, did not deny that the shooting took place, she was quick to dispel rumors that the rhymer had died in a series of tweets.
“Bitch shut up,” KenyaJ wrote. “You don’t know what the hell you’re talking about [for real]
“Nobody fucking died,” she continued. “Stop eating dick and go read [a] book.”
She concluded her statements with, “I hate you niggas and internet freak hoes. Stop trying to confirm shit you don’t know, motherfuckers.”
The news of JayDaYoungan’s death follows a litany of serious legal troubles for him over the past few years. Last June, he was released from prison after serving a seven-month sentence. Last October, JayDaYoungan was arrested and charged with child abandonment, unlawful use of a controlled hazardous substance in the presence of persons under 17, and possession of a controlled hazardous substance in the presence of weapons. .
